Light Africa’s Agriculture Project is dedicated to empowering children and communities through agricultural production and training.

With a fully functional agricultural production and training center at its core, this initiative aims to not only provide valuable skills and knowledge but also promote self-sufficiency and food security within the community.

Through support for school farm establishment, ongoing farm management, marketing assistance, and agricultural training programs, we are cultivating a culture of innovation, sustainability, and empowerment in agriculture.

• We support the establishment of fully functional school farms within the community, providing structural support and resources to set up agricultural infrastructure. This includes assistance with land preparation, fencing, irrigation systems, and the establishment of crop fields, orchards, and livestock pens.

• Maintaining a successful farm requires ongoing support and management. We provide assistance for the day-to-day running of the school farm throughout the year. This includes support for crop cultivation, livestock care, pest and disease management, and overall farm maintenance to ensure optimal productivity and sustainability.

• At the heart of our Agriculture Project lies a fully functional agricultural production and training center. This center serves as a hub for agricultural education, research, and hands-on training, empowering children and community members with practical skills and knowledge in farming, gardening, and agribusiness.

• Education is key to success in agriculture. We organize agricultural training programs and farm tours at the school farm, providing participants with valuable insights and practical skills.

• These programs cover a wide range of topics, including crop production, animal husbandry, sustainable farming practices, and agribusiness management, empowering individuals to become successful farmers and entrepreneurs.
