Welcome to Light Africa Ministries!
Our journey began with a vision to start businesses and create jobs for our community, but the Lord revealed a higher calling for us—full-time ministry. This revelation came during my time at Makerere University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce, and later at Glad Tidings Bible College, where I trained in youth ministry. Through prayer and guidance, it became clear that God wanted us to work with children and youth, believing that transforming the younger generation is key to changing a nation.
From my youth, I have been passionate about working with children and youth, serving as a pastor and mentor in various capacities. Our experiences with organizations such as AWANA, annual camps, Makerere Full Gospel Church, Gaba Community Church, African Children’s Choir, and Mwangaza Children’s Choir have reinforced our belief in the power of nurturing young minds.
God has shown us that by bringing children to Him, teaching them His ways, and equipping them with necessary life skills, we can build a generation of godly individuals. These young people will grow into responsible parents, leaders, and citizens with a strong moral foundation.
