Light Africa’s Family Economic Empowerment Program is dedicated to uplifting households and communities by providing opportunities for vocational training and skill development.

Recognizing the importance of economic stability in family life, we aim to equip households with the tools and resources they need to achieve self-sustainability and financial independence.

Through our vocational training center and tailored support programs, we empower individuals to build sustainable livelihoods and thrive economically.

• We understand that economic empowerment starts at the household level. Therefore, we prioritize equipping families with vocational skills that enable them to generate income and support themselves. Our focus is mostly of female headed households.

• Households from which sponsored children are coming receive targeted support, including access to vocational training programs tailored to their interests and needs.

• In addition to vocational training, we provide comprehensive support services to ensure the success and sustainability of our participants.

• This includes access to business development training, financial literacy education, mentorship, and access to microfinance and market linkages, empowering individuals to start and grow their own businesses.

• Our approach to economic empowerment is holistic, addressing not only vocational skills but also financial management, entrepreneurship, and personal development.

• Through workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching, participants gain the knowledge, confidence, and resources they need to build sustainable livelihoods and achieve their financial goals.
