This camp was organized for P.7 Candidates [Just sat for their national exam and waiting to join high school in a few months].
Our Theme: “HOPE IN ADVERSITY.”
We have had about 60 students who attended this and we had a lot of learning and fun. This began on Monday-17th May through Wednesday.
Jeremiah 32:27 was our core scripture throughout the days and there was so much to learn and discover. Many students learned about how to set dreams and goals, Living a balanced life, empowered to persevere through rough times, and acquired a couple of life skills to help them make wiser decisions and live better.
I felt I could serve the children best by being in the powerhouse [Kitchen]. I was able to check on them as I served breakfast and lunch. Oh and of course made sure everyone left with enough food on their plate so no one stays hungry. I love working with children cause I know- this is our future and heritage.
